Pakistan repays second SBA instalment of $394 million (Economy)

Pakistan paid the second instalment of the International Monetary Fund's Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) programme worth 258.4 million SDRs ($394 million).

·         On May 24 this year, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) issued an advice to the Federal Reserves Bank of New York for payment of $394 million, in term of Special Drawing Rights (SDR) calculated at 258.4 million, to the IMF.
