Elixir’s sponsors are The Dawood Group, who also have other business interests such as Engro Corporation (49% ownership), Dawood Hercules (fertilizer), Central Insurance, Dawood Lawrencepur (textile & energy) and Inbox Technologies (IT).
Elixir is a full service brokerage firm that provides equity advisory & execution services to local and foreign institutional investors (FII), retail and high net worth individuals.
Elixir manages a reasonable share of foreign portfolio investment made by FII’s investing in listed equities on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE).
The company has experienced personnel working in the Equity & Economic Research, Equity Sales & Trading, Money Market and FX desks. This complements the state of the art back office systems inherited from W.I.Carr Securities, ensuring effective risk management and operational efficiency.
